TikTok is the home to a variety of fun, short-form video content from users across the globe. If there is a video on TikTok that you really like, you have the option of reposting it on your profile. You can also download videos from TikTok for sharing them via apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
But downloading TikTok videos comes with a caveat – they are usually marred by a watermark. So, in this post, we will share some working methods to download TikTok videos without a watermark on your iPhone and Android phone.
The default Gallery app on iPhones and Android phones has a built-in Crop Video feature. You can use it to crop a downloaded TikTok video and remove the watermark. Here’s how.
On iPhone
Step 1: Open TikTok and download the video from which the watermark has to be removed.
Step 2: Once done, close TikTok and open the Photos app.
Step 3: Tap on Edit at the top-right corner and select Crop at the bottom-right corner.
Step 4: Use the crop lines to remove the portions where the watermark appears in the video.
Step 5: Once done, tap on Done at the top-right corner to confirm.
Using Google Photos On Android
Step 1: Open TikTok and download the video from which the watermark has to be removed.
Step 2: Once done, close TikTok and open the Google Photos app.
Step 3: Select the video and tap on Edit at the bottom.
Step 4: Tap on Crop at the bottom and start cropping the video till the watermark gets removed.
Step 5: Tap on Save Copy at the bottom to confirm.
Using Gallery App on Samsung Galaxy Phones
If you are using a Samsung Galaxy S series device, you have the feature to crop videos in the Gallery app itself.
Step 1: Open TikTok and download the video from which the watermark has to be removed.
Step 2: Once done, close TikTok and open the Gallery app.
Step 3: Select the video and tap on Edit at the bottom.
Step 4: Tap the Crop icon at the bottom and crop the video so as to remove the watermark.
Step 5: Once done, tap on Save as copy at the top-right corner.
2. Add Sticker on TikTok Watermark (iPhone)
A fun way to hide the TikTok watermark is by adding a sticker on top of it in your videos. You can choose to add stickers that are coherent to the video content. 3. Remove Watermark Using Third-Party Apps
There are a few reliable third-party apps available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store to help you download videos from TikTok without a watermark. We have provided the steps to use one such app called SnapTik. The app is available for both iPhone and Android phones.
Step 1: Open TikTok and tap the Share icon for the video that you wish to download.
Step 2: Tap on Copy Link at the bottom.
Step 3: Close TikTok and open SnapTik.
Step 4: Paste the TikTok video link in the app and tap on Paste.
Step 5: Once the link is pasted, you will see the option to download the video without a watermark.
If you use the free version of SnapTik, you will have to watch a 30-second ad before the download begins.
