How to Use Director Mode on Snapchat
Snapchat is filled with loads of options to share your favorite moments. And now, the platform has introduced a new feature called Director Mode that brings more advanced features to the mix. It is especially helpful for those with a large following who want to experiment with curating fresher content.
Interestingly, the Director Mode doesn’t require a Snapchat Plus subscription and is available for all users. In this post, we will show you how to enable and use the Director Mode on Snapchat on your iPhone and Android phone.
How to Enable Director Mode on Snapchat
Before moving ahead, we advise installing the updated version of Snapchat on your iPhone or Android phone. This will help to avoid any hiccups while using the feature.
Step 1: Open Snapchat on your iPhone or Android phone.
Step 2: Tap the Camera at the bottom and then tap the Plus icon on the right side.
Step 3: Select Director Mode.
Once Director Mode is enabled, you will have an array of advanced features at your disposal. Let’s learn about some of the coolest ones.

You can also choose to save your Green Screen video to your device. Just tap Save at the bottom-left corner.
You can tap the Plus icon at the bottom-right corner to record and publish multiple videos together on your profile, too.
Change Camera Layout Using Director Mode on Snapchat
You can also change the camera layout for your Snapchat videos or photos using Director Mode. To that end, you can use both your phone’s front and rear cameras to shoot from two perspectives simultaneously.
Just tap the Dual Camera icon in the Director Mode on Snapchat. You will see the option for three different layouts of Dual Camera that you can use.
Tap on the layout of your choice and start recording your video, or click a picture.
As always, you can preview and post your video/photo after you are satisfied.
