How To Login Into Facebook With Instagram
You don’t need to open Facebook and Instagram separately to post the same content. There’s an option to post your Facebook post automatically to Instagram. Similarly, you can log in to Facebook with the Instagram app too.
This helps in situations when you forget your Facebook passcode or, even worse, someone gets access to your Facebook account. Keep reading this post to learn how to log in to your Facebook account using Instagram on mobile and desktop.
Login Into Facebook Using Instagram on Mobile
After Meta took charge of running Instagram, linking and accessing your Facebook account has become easy. Mostly, both your Facebook and Instagram profiles get linked automatically when used on the same device. Here’s how you can regain access to Facebook using Instagram. The steps below remain the same for iPhone and Android users.
Step 1: Open Instagram on your iPhone or Android phone.
Step 2: Tap on your profile icon at the bottom-right corner.
Step 3: Go to the hamburger menu icon at the top-right corner and then select Settings and privacy.
Step 4: Select Accounts Center at the top. Then tap on Profiles.
Step 5: Ensure that your Facebook account has been added already. If your Facebook account is not linked, then you can’t proceed.
Step 6: Go back and then tap on Logging In With Accounts.
Step 7: Tap on Advanced. Then tap on your Instagram account name.
Step 8: Enable your Facebook account so that you can sign in to it using your Instagram credentials.
Step 9: Close the app and then open Facebook.
You can now log in using your Instagram account name and password to regain access.

Step 9: Select your Instagram account name.
Step 10: Enable your Facebook account so that you can log in to it using Instagram credentials.
Manage Logged Devices on Instagram
Instagram lets you see all the devices that are logged in and using your account. This helps, especially when your accounts become prone to unwanted access by some unknown user. You can easily see and sign out from a problematic device. However, you will need access to your Instagram account on another phone or desktop to follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Open Instagram on your mobile or desktop. The steps remain the same for both platforms.
Step 2: Go to your profile and open Settings and privacy.
Step 3: Tap on Accounts Center and select ‘Logging In With Accounts.’
On Desktop, select Connected Experiences and then select ‘Logging In With Accounts.’
Step 4: Select your Instagram account and tap on ‘See Where You’re Logged In.’
You will now see the devices using your account.
Step 5: Select the device you want to remove and tap Log Out at the bottom.
The selected device will be logged out from your Instagram account. You can remove any number of desktops and other smartphones from using your account.
Forgot Password? That’s Ok!
You can easily log into your Facebook account with your Instagram account name and password. This also saves you the hassle of remembering individual usernames and passwords for both platforms. Of course, there can be instances when you would want to hide your Instagram posts from being viewed on Facebook by someone. In that case, it is best to unlink your Instagram from Facebook.
